International Student Resources

Welcome!

Williams College is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students, staff, and faculty. This webpage is a place to start to make connections and learn about resources at Williams and beyond. The Davis Center staff and Community Engagement Fellows are here to support you and to help you access other resources, as well as to address college-wide policies and practices. Please contact any of us to make an appointment or drop by during our drop-in hours.

The Davis Center International Lounge at Bascom House

The Davis Center’s International Lounge is located in the Bascom House on the second floor. The International Lounge aka ILounge is open to all international students as your home away from home. Feel free to use it as a meeting, study, and relaxing space, and feel free to add more personal touches. Our Community Engagements Fellows sometimes hold their drop-in hours here.

International Student Association (ISA):

The ISA aims to represent the international student body and provide a safe space for our multicultural community. We advocate for the social, legal, and logistical needs of international students; facilitate cross-cultural collaboration and communication, and organize student activities across campus to create a strong support system. Some of our regular activities include coffee hours, talent shows, movie/game nights, and cooking sessions; of course, these will be modified to stay in line with covid-related regulations and accommodate our off-campus members. We can’t wait to meet you this Fall!

International Student Services (ISS)

  • Advisement on immigration, academic, social, professional and personal issues

  • Guidance to on and off-campus resources

  • Informative programs, workshops, and training

  • Support, advocacy and more….
