Welcome! Williams College is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students, staff, and faculty, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, those who are exploring their gender identities and/or sexualities, and those who want to learn more and/or be allies. Many students, staff, and faculty work to support and empower students and each other. This webpage is a place to start to make connections and learn about resources at Williams and beyond.
The Davis Center staff and Community Engagement Fellows are here to support you and to help you access other resources, as well as to address college-wide policies and practices. Please contact any of us to make an appointment or drop by during our drop-in hours. The Gender Sexuality Resource Center is located in Hardy House on the first floor. Here you can find safer sex and personal care items, reading materials and information, and often times, someone to talk to—our Community Engagements Fellows sometimes hold their drop-in hours here.

Beyond the Binary
A social club created by and for transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming students at Williams to serve as an affirming peer-led space for trans and GNC college students in the Berkshires. Gathering virtually in 2020/2021.
A safe, confidential, and relaxed space for LGBTQ identifying athletes. We meet weekly in a confidential but cozy space to hang out, escape the stressful academic and athletic world of Williams, to engage in topical discussion on relevant issues, and to support each other through our struggles with identity and campus culture. We also plan all-campus programming.
EnGender (via Integrated Wellness Services)
A weekly meeting for students of Trans/GNC experiences interested in meeting with similarly-identified and affirming peers facilitated by IWS staff. It’s a very chill and safe space! Although it usually meets in Hardy House, for COVID-19, we are doing zoom meetings instead called E-Gender on Wednesday evenings.
A non-standing committee composed of students, staff, and faculty. The committee was established to support programming at Williams that promotes “an understanding of human sexuality and sexual orientation and their impact on culture” and a “respect for and awareness of the diversity of human sexuality and diversity.”
