Letters of recommendation are a required component for most applications to summer programs, internships, research opportunities, graduate school, and jobs.  In this workshop, we create a plan of action for requesting letters of recommendations, including drafting/sample emails, and creating an organization system for keeping track of timelines and due dates. Time provided, we also discuss opportunities that facilitate relationship building with faculty members in order to have advocates and mentors who can write positive and strong letters of recommendation in support of our applications.
