The Black STEM Student Association (BSTEM) aims to create a safe and supportive space in which minorities in the sciences are encouraged to continue their studies and can freely and directly speak of their experiences within STEM fields. This support system for underserved groups in STEM fields is essential to help support students and to combat the effects of the discrimination that they may experience. BSTEM aims to promote conversation between current students and alumni. These relationships are the foundation of how we help students navigate a post-Williams career while offering access to free mentorship and networking opportunities.
