QSU: Queer Student Union

Queer Student Union (QSU)

The Williams College Queer Student Union (QSU) is an organization meant to work towards the advocacy, advancement, and support for the college's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and otherwise Queer-identifying students. Through our active presence and involvement on campus, the QSU hopes to confront homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, and heterosexism while seeking to understand and address how these interlink with sexism, racism, and classism to perpetuate oppression. We strive towards strengthening the community at Williams for LGBTQ+ students in various ways, including, but not limited to hosting events, such as regular discussion meetings and parties, collaborating with other groups on campus, and engaging with the wider Williams community.
