Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC)

The goal of the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center is to offer a safe, welcoming informative space for the purpose of raising awareness, promoting understanding, and increasing acceptance of the diversity of genders and sexualities in the human experience.

The space provides students with print and media resources regarding issues of gender, and sexuality; as well as peer guidance, networking with other students and organizations, and serves as safe study  and programming space. The GSRC also offers safe sex resources such as condoms, dental dams, lube, and gloves. The GSRC is open 24/7 (for Williams students via swipe card) upstairs in Jenness House.

Mike Dively, Class of ‘61 has been a major contributor to helping the GSRC programming flourish through an endowed fund for Queer programming.  This generous gift is managed by the Dively Committee has helped fund trainings for staff around the needs of transgender folk, drag shows, academic presentations, discussion forums, and queer theater performances.
